Our first annual farm to table dinner will be held on Sunday, July 8th at Black Birch Vineyard. Wheelhouse Catering will be preparing a 4-course meal of locally sourced foods carefully paired with BBV wines which will be enjoyed out on our grounds at the winery in the rich farming community of Hatfield.
Arrive between 5:30 and 6:00 and you will be greeted with a glass of Rosé along with a selection of cheeses, salami a variety of fruit preserves and pickles.
First course: Grilled sourdough with whipped montrachet, poached beets, toasted almonds, beet molasses, and torn mint. Cabernet Franc (Estate) Salad course: Zucchini and zephyr squash with pecorino, lemon, pine nuts, basil and tulsi. Pinot Noir Main course: Braised chicken with lemon and aromatics, crispy za'atar potatoes and young brassica greens. (Vegetarian option) Ricotta, spinach, and green garlic crostata with walnuts, za'atar, and cider reduction, served with young brassica greens. Riesling. Dessert: Strawberry rhubarb galette with Corot Noir reduction, candied hibiscus and rosemary. Coffee & Tea
