Black Birch Vineyard will host the Black Birch Library Series, a 4-month exploration of our first 10 years of winemaking, digging deep into older vintages, the hits and misses and everything in between. We’ll also compare these vintages to our current selection, walk folks through the aging process, how to store wine and the decisions that went into each vintage.
The first tasting in the series focuses on our Rieslings. We’ve selected a number of bottles from our library that range from 2010 all the way through 2017. This all segues into the release of our 2018 vintage of Rieslings.
This tastings will be accompanied by appetizers from Pengyew Catering:
Poke – diced raw tuna, scallion, tamari, ponzu sauce, sesame oil, sesame seeds and nori strips, served in a small white ceramic spoon
